AFCON 2021

AFCON 2021 Betting Tips: 30 January 2022

The Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals kick-off on Sunday with hosts a big North African derby between Egypt and Morocco.

The Africa Cup of Nations semi-final lineup will be decided on Sunday as Egypt look to continue their revival against Morocco and pre-tournament favourites Senegal take on Equatorial Guinea.

Our suggested bets can be placed together in a single bet or separately as individual bets.

Egypt v Morocco

Egypt were thoroughly outplayed by Nigeria in their first match of the Africa Cup of Nations, but Carlos Queiroz’s men have regrouped since then and showed strong character by knocking out Ivory Coast.

Morocco, who controversially omitted Hakim Ziyech from their squad, have performed well without him, with Achraf Hakimi’s winner seeing off a spirited Malawi in the round of 16.

There is little to separate Egypt and Morocco on paper and this game is likely to be decided in extra time or penalties.

Best Bet: Draw (90 min)

Senegal v Equatorial Guinea

Senegal are growing into the tournament as expected and were the only team to win their round of 16 clash by two goals. All of the others were decided by one goal or on penalties.

Sadio Mane appears to be recovering well from an injury sustained in the Lions of Teranga’s 2-0 win over Cape Verde, but even if he is unable to play, Senegal still have enough firepower to get through this game.

Best Bet: Senegal Win
