Only the top eight finishers from the previous season’s DStv Premiership qualify for the knockout competition, which will begin the weekend before the new league season begins in 2021/22.
Orlando Pirates, the defending champions, will face Swallows FC in the opening match on Saturday, August 14th at 15:00 at Orlando Stadium.
The second match will be played at 18:00 at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal, between Golden Arrows and SuperSport United.
Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will face off at 15:00 on Sunday, August 15 at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.
AmaZulu FC hosts Cape Town City at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 18:00 on Sunday, they will have home-field advantage.
